My brother Reg and I will mine our extensive repertoire of jazz standards and our own jazz songs for an evening of music at 120 Diner on September 9 from 6pm – 8pm. We’re very picky about the songs we love and take great joy in sharing them.
The following day, Sunday the 10th, my dreamsharing pal Barbara Allen and I will share our thoughts and experiences around connected dreaming with the Toronto branch of the International Association for the Study of Dreams. It will be a full day event with lots of conversation and many tips on how to work with one’s dreams. And there’s a potluck so yeah, you should come.
I’m guessing these two events will overlap here and there – I’ll sing about dreams, dream about singing and and talk about everything! Somehow in this swirl of energy I shall dance towards the new season, become more myself, embrace the Autumn Leaves and get ready for the PsiberDreaming Conference that begins a few weeks later on Sept. 24. It’s an online festival of great thinking and writing about psi dreaming. It’s my third online conference and for the first time I’m presenting a paper called Dream Gifts and the Importance of Action Plans, a topic that is close to my heart. I encourage anyone interested in reading cutting-edge ideas and stories about working with dreams in new and creative ways to join in. It’s a great space to share one’s thoughts and get feedback on all those puzzling experiences we seldom talk about. There’s nothing else quite like it.
And now see if you recognize the soundtrack in this video for the PsiberDreaming conference.
